Woman Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Richmond Avenue in Houston

Woman Critically Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Richmond Avenue near Hillcroft Avenue

Houston, Texas (May 16, 2021) – A woman was critically injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The accident was reported around 3:45 a.m. on Richmond Avenue near Hillcroft Avenue.

Police said the woman was leaving a parking lot and was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by a dark-colored vehicle.

The vehicle, which was possibly a black Dodge charger, fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
