Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Sam Houston Beltway at Woodson Park

Houston, Texas (November 7, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a car early Friday morning in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., November 6, on the Sam Houston Beltway at Woodson Park.

According to police, the woman’s husband said she had just lost her father and was arguing with him when she walked out onto the roadway and sat down. She was then struck by an SUV.

The SUV driver remained at the scene after the accident and cooperated with investigators.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

An investigation is underway.
