Woman Killed in Manor 18-Wheeler Crash on U.S. Highway 290 near Old Kimbro Road

Manor, Texas (June 17, 2020) – A woman was killed Wednesday morning in an 18-wheeler crash in Manor, according to police.

The crash was reported around 10:29 a.m. on U.S. Highway 290 near Old Kimbro Road.

Police said the woman was driving a car on the highway when she collided with an 18-wheeler that was hauling gravel.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The crash closed one lane of Eastbound U.S. 290 and the turn lanes that crossover at Old Kimbro Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
