Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Basse Road

San Antonio, Texas (December 20, 2019) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday night in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident took place around 7:30 p.m., December 19, in the 100 block of Basse Road.

Police said a 2011 Hyundai Elantra was heading westbound on Basse Road, switching lanes, when a woman attempted to run across the road and was hit. The driver attempted to swerve to avoid hitting the woman but was unable to.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Elantra driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
