Yulissa Valero Killed in Head-On Crash on I-35 in San Antonio

Yulissa Valero Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near West Cesar Chavez Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas – One person was killed and three others were injured early Saturday morning in a head-on collision in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 2:00 a.m., January 13, on Interstate Highway 35 South near West Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

Police said a 25-year-old man was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the interstate when he crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The passenger in the vehicle, Yulissa Cristal Valero, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver sustained multiple injuries and was taken to a local hospital in good condition. A third passenger in the back seat was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The 25-year-old was arrested for DWI/intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
