1 Hospitalized after Houston Crash on U.S. 290 near Antoine

Houston, Texas (July 11, 2019) – A person was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a multi-car accident in Houston, according to a local news source.

The crash took place at around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 9 on U.S. 290 near Antoine.

A dashcam video showed an 18-wheeler drifted into another lane and hit a car. The force of the impact sent the car out of control across the freeway, where it collided with another vehicle.

That impact caused the car to roll over three times on the freeway.

One person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
