Man Killed in Rio Hondo Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 106 near Nelson Road

Rio Hondo, Texas (November 23, 2023) – A man was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision in Rio Hondo, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on FM 106 near Nelson Road.

Police said the crash involved a gray Chevy pickup and a brown SUV.

One person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles.

A man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The crash closed both directions of FM 106.

The police are investigating the crash.
