Driver Injured in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20 and Rankin Highway

Midland, Texas (January 8, 2021) – A driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Midland, according to authorities.

The crash happened on January 7, in the area of Interstate 20 and Rankin Highway.

Authorities said an SUV driver changed lanes, lost control, and struck a Coca-Cola semi-truck, causing it to roll over.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries where they were treated and released.

The SUV driver was cited for changing lanes when unsafe and driving without a license.

The police are investigating the crash.
