One Killed and One Critically Injured in Montgomery Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105 at Pooles Road

Montgomery, Texas (May 20, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was critically injured Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Montgomery, according to DPS troopers.

The crash was reported around 7:00 a.m. on Highway 105 at Pooles Road, just west of Montgomery High School.

DPS said the head-on collision involved a large truck and a full-size gray or silver Chevrolet pickup truck.

One person was killed in the crash. One other person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The crash completely destroyed the cab of the pickup truck.

The crash closed Highway 105 for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
