One Killed and 11 Injured in El Paso Greyhound Bus Crash on Interstate 10 at Executive Center
El Paso, Texas (May 8, 2021) – One person was killed, and 11 others were injured early Saturday morning in a bus crash in west El Paso, according to officials.
The fatal crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Interstate 10 eastbound at Executive Center.
Officials said a Greyhound bus carrying an estimated 30 people collided with a car on the interstate.
The impact caused the car to catch fire.
A passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Eleven people were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Three of the victims had life-threatening injuries.
Other victims were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The crash closed the interstate from Sunland Park to Executive.
The crash remains under investigation.
