Man Killed and Three Injured in Montgomery County Car Accident on Highway 242

Montgomery County, Texas (June 21, 2019) – A man was killed and three other people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday night on a Montgomery County highway, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash occurred just after 11:00 p.m. June 20, on Highway 242.

Deputies said the driver of a Mustang drifted over the eastbound lanes of the highway and almost crashed head-on into a Nissan occupied by a mother and daughter.

The Mustang was then T-boned by a Honda.

One of the cars split in half in the crash.

The Mustang driver was declared dead at the scene.

The Honda driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The mother and daughter were also taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.

An investigation is ongoing.
