Houston, Texas (February 19, 2022) – One person was killed Friday morning in an 18-wheeler crash in Houston, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred around 11:23 a.m., February 18, on East Sam Houston Tollway.

According to the report, a pickup truck rear-ended a big rig.

The pickup truck driver was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The crash closed East Sam Houston Tollway at Market Street.
