One Killed in Aransas County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 188

Aransas County, Texas (October 22, 2022) – One person was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision in Aransas County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:35 a.m., October 21, on State Highway 188.

DPS said a Dodge Ram was traveling westbound on the highway when it crossed the center stripe line and crashed head-on with an eastbound dump truck.

The Dodge driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No additional information was available.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
