1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 105 in Grimes County

One Killed in Grimes County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105 at FM 159

Grimes County, Texas (March 2, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed on Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Grimes County.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:00 p.m., March 1, at Highway 105 and FM 159, west of the Navasota city limits.

DPS said the crash involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

SH 105 eastbound was diverted to FM 159, while SH 105 westbound was closed at CR 423.

The crash remains under investigation.
