1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 290 West near Oak Hill

Man Killed in Oak Hill Car Crash at U.S. 290 West and RM 1826

Oak Hill, Texas (April 20, 2019) – One man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection near Oak Hill on Thursday morning, according to the Austin Police Department.
The wreck happened shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at U.S. 290 West and RM 1826.
According to Austin police, an SUV made a turn on US 290 and collided with a silver car. The silver car traveled across the eastbound lanes and was struck by a truck.
The man driving the silver car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The third driver was unhurt.
Austin police are investigating the incident.
