12-Year-Old Girl Sustains Broken Leg After Vehicle Crashes Into Home on Ludington Drive in Houston

12-Year-Old Girl Injured in Houston Crash on Ludington Drive near Sandpiper Drive

Houston, Texas (October 19, 2023) – A 12-year-old girl was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a home in southwest Houston on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The wreck happened in the 6300 block of Ludington Drive near the 11700 block of Sandpiper Drive on October 18.

Police said a white vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver possibly suffered a medical episode and passed out. As a result, the driver crashed into the home.

The 12-year-old girl was trapped underneath the vehicle. The young girl was transported to the hospital with a broken leg. Her current condition was not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
