Officer and Civilian Injured in Wichita Falls Crash on Kemp Boulevard
Wichita Falls, Texas (March 13, 2019) – An officer and a civilian were injured Sunday night in a traffic crash in Wichita Falls, authorities reported.
The wreck happened at about 9:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10 in the 4000 block of Kemp Boulevard.
According to the authorities, a Toyota Highlander was exiting a parking lot when it was struck by a police vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.
Witnesses told investigators that the policeman had the light of the traffic light in green.
The Toyota driver was transported to a hospital with major injuries while the policeman was also taken the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
