Two Injured in Waller County Semi-Truck Crash on I-10 West and FM 1498

Waller County, Texas (December 9, 2021) – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a semi-truck crash in Waller County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on December 8, in the area of I-10 West and FM 1498.

Authorities said a semi-truck was rear-ended by another semi-truck, trapping one of the drivers inside their cab. The driver had to be freed. 

The driver and their passenger were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed I-10 westbound near FM 1489.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
