Two Injured in Winona Motorcycle Accident on Highway 155 North at Jones Street
Winona, Texas (May 16, 2019) – Two people were injured on Wednesday in a motorcycle accident at a Winona intersection, according to the DPS.
The accident happened at an unspecified time on Wednesday, May 15, at the intersection of Highway 155 North and Jones Street.
DPS said a motorcycle and a car collided for unknown reasons at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was airlifted a local hospital and the female passenger in the bike was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The conditions of the victims were not disclosed. They were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
No one in the car was injured in the crash.
An investigation is underway.
