Anderson County, Texas (March 7, 2021) – Two people were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a plane crash in Anderson County, according to authorities.

The crash was reported around 1:49 p.m., March 6, in the 5000 block of FM 1990.

FAA said the Beechcraft BE35 single-engine airplane crashed in a field four miles southwest of Palestine.

The two people on board the plane were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. Their names have not been released.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
