Three Injured in Travis County Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 973

Travis County, Texas (October 19, 2021) – Three people were injured Monday night in a three-vehicle crash in Travis County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on October 18, on FM 973 near Manor.

Authorities said three vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved in the collision.

One person was pinned in their vehicle after the crash. The victim was freed and was airlifted to the hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

A second victim was taken to the hospital with potentially serious, non-life-threatening injuries. A third victim sustained minor injuries and refused transportation to the hospital.

The crash closed FM 973 at Schmidt Lane. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
