3 Injured in Fiery Crash at Lake June and Holcomb Roads in Dallas

Three Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash at Lake June Road and Holcomb Road

Dallas, Texas (May 19, 2020) – Three people were injured Monday night in a fiery two-vehicle crash in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, according to police.

The crash took place just after 9:00 p.m. May 18, at the intersection of Lake June and Holcomb Roads.

Police said a 19-year-old was driving a car at a high rate of speed when they ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a pickup truck occupied by a family.

The impact caused the truck to catch fire.

Witnesses were able to pull the father, mother, and a 1-year-old from the burning pickup truck.

The pickup driver, a 20-year-old, and passenger were taken to Baylor Hospital with unknown injuries.

The 1-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital but didn’t have any injuries.

The 19-year-old driver was taken to Parkland Hospital in critical condition.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
