Four Injured in Austin Pedestrian Crash on I-35

Austin, Texas (August 10, 2019) – Four pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 1500 block of I-35 near the Frank Erwin Center.

Medics said four people were transported to Dell Seton with major injuries. An adult man sustained life-threatening injuries while a woman in her 20s had serious injuries.Two other adult females were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details were released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
