Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Tarlton Street in Corpus Christi

Man Injured in Corpus Christi Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Tarlton Street near Crosstown Expressway

Corpus Christi, Texas (July 22, 2020) – A 26-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Corpus Christi, according to police.

The accident happened at about 8:00 p.m., July 9, in the 2200 block of Tarlton Street near the Crosstown Expressway.

Police said the man was struck by a silver four-door car, which then fled the scene.

The man was found lying on the ground and bleeding from his head. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The vehicle has some damage to the front driver side wheel.

An investigation into the crash is underway. Anyone with information about the accident or the suspected vehicle is asked to call Crimestoppers at (361)-888-8477 (TIPS).
