Bernice Cornish Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on East Berry Street

Fort Worth, Texas (November 17, 2022) – A 70-year-old woman was killed earlier this month in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 7:00 p.m., November 3, in the 2400 block of East Berry Street.

According to the report, Bernice Cornish was standing at the bus stop when she crossed the street and was struck by an eastbound SUV.

The SUV fled the scene after the accident.

Cornish was killed in the crash.

Investigators are looking for the involved vehicle, which they believe is a 2000-2004 white Nissan Pathfinder that has a broken headlight.
