Brianna Lopez Killed in SW Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash on Chisholm Trail Parkway near Sycamore School Road

Fort Worth, Texas (September 28, 2023) – A woman was killed early Wednesday morning in a wrong-way crash in southwest Fort Worth, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 12:30 a.m., September 27, on Chisholm Trail Parkway near Sycamore School Road.

DPS said Aaron Paul Roberts, 32, of Cleburne, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway when he crashed head-on into a 2014 Mazda SUV driven by Brianna Marie Lopez, of Fort Worth.

Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Roberts was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment and then booked into the Tarrant County jail. He is facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
