Campaign Worker Hit by Vehicle on Del Mar Boulevard in Laredo

Campaign Worker Injured in North Laredo Pedestrian Accident on Del Mar Boulevard 

Laredo, Texas – A campaign worker was injured Monday night after being struck by a vehicle in North Laredo, according to the police.

The accident happened around 8:00 p.m., February 26, in the 616 block of Del Mar Boulevard near the Laredo Fire Department Administration Center.

Police said the woman was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by the sideview mirror of a vehicle.

 The driver stopped to help the woman until the paramedics arrived.

The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Additional information was not available.

The police are investigating the crash.
