Christopher Phan and 2 Friends Killed in Dallas Crash on LBJ Freeway

Dallas, Texas (March 11, 2019) – Three people were killed when they were struck by a driver who fled the scene after the incident early Sunday morning in Dallas according to the authorities.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, on the LBJ Freeway.
Police said Christopher Phan was among five friends riding in a vehicle after leaving a concert when their vehicle had a flat tire. The driver of the vehicle, Nguyen and one of their friends went out to fix the tire.
As the the three friends were fixing the vehicle, a Chevy Silverado crashed into the vehicle and the pedestrians.
Phan and the two friends were killed in the accident. The other two in the vehicle were injured in the crash.
The driver of the Chevy fled on foot, leaving a 13-year-old boy behind.
There were no details of arrests at the time of the report.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
