David Singleterry ID’d as Man Killed in Lubbock Crash on Spur 327
Lubbock, Texas (December 19, 2022) – The Lubbock Police Department has identified the man who died following a traffic accident on Thursday night in Lubbock as David Singleterry, 52.
The deadly crash was reported at around 8:22 p.m. Thursday, December 15, in the 6300 block of Spur 327.
Police said Singleterry was driving eastbound in the 6300 block of the access road of Spur 327 when his car veered northbound through the grass median and onto the main lanes of Spur 327. The car then went across both lanes and hit the center concrete median.
The car continued in a southeast direction, back across the main lanes to the grass median and across the access road and Iola Avenue. It then struck two parked vehicles at the Mears Mazda Volvo car dealership parking lot.
Singleterry sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
No other details regarding the crash were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
