Deputy Bryan Pfluger Killed in San Jacinto County Patrol Car Crash on Hill Road near SH 150

San Jacinto County, Texas (December 22, 2019) – A San Jacinto County deputy was killed in a crash Saturday evening in San Jacinto County, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. on December 21, on Hill Road off SH 150 near Coldspring.

Authorities said several units were responding to a burglary call, and as one unit slowed down on SH 150 to turn right onto Hill Road, a second unit maneuvered to the right, clipped the first patrol car, and rolled over severally.

One of the deputies, Bryan Pfluger, was taken to a Livingston hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other deputy was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
