Wichita Falls, Texas (June 11, 2020) – An 18-year-old MSU Texas student was injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision that left a man dead in Wichita Falls, authorities said.

The crash was reported at about 12:21 p.m. on June 8, at Central Freeway and Highway 287.

Police said 35-year-old Allie Bindi of California, was driving a black Ford Fiesta northbound in a southbound lane of Highway 287 when he crashed head-on into a southbound Cream Ford Edge driven by Harley Whited.

Bindi was pronounced dead on the scene.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help with medical expenses.

There were no passengers in both vehicles.

The crash remains under investigation.

We wish Harley Whited a quick recovery.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statues which were violated.
