Harris County Precinct 7 Deputy Injured in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on West Bellfort Avenue and Bob White

Houston, Texas (March 19, 2021) – A Harris County Precinct 7 deputy constable was injured Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle in southwest Houston, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m., March 17, in the 6300 block of West Bellfort Avenue and Bob White.

Police said officers spotted a woman who was driving a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe at about 65 mph in a 30 mph zone. The woman sped off, and the officers pursued her. During the chase, the woman crashed into the deputy constable’s cruiser and hit a Houston police cruiser. She then crashed into the front yard of a home.

The deputy constable was taken to the hospital with neck and back injuries.

The woman is facing charges of evading and failure to stop and render aid on a uniformed officer.

An investigation is underway.
