Joseph Wayne Turner Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on E. Lucas at Pine Burr

Beaumont, Texas (September 6, 2020) – According to a local news source, a pedestrian was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run crash in Beaumont.

The deadly accident occurred at about 11:48 p.m., September 4, on E. Lucas at Pine Burr.

According to the report, Joseph Wayne Turner, 26, of Beaumont, was struck by a dark-colored vehicle on the sidewalk.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities are looking for the suspect.
