Jacob Miranda Martinez Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 80

Midland, Texas (March 18, 2021) – A man was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Midland, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 2:39 a.m., in the 10000 block of W. Highway 80.

Police said a gray 2009 Honda was traveling eastbound on the highway when it collided with an unknown vehicle.

The Honda driver, 33-year-old Jacob Miranda Martinez of Odessa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver fled the scene after the crash.
