James Anderson Killed in Rockdale Pedestrian Accident on West Cameron

Rockdale, Texas – A pedestrian died on Tuesday after being struck by a car in Rockdale, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened on December 12, on West Cameron in the 700 Block of Highway 79 in front of Go Car Wash.

According to the report, 77-year-old James Anderson, of Canada, was attempting to walk across the street from Walmart to a nearby hotel when he failed to yield the right-of-way to traffic and was hit by a car.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
