James Davis Struck, Killed by Pickup on SH 7 in Nacogdoches County 

James Davis Killed in Nacogdoches County Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 7

Nacogdoches County, Texas (August 30, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, a man was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Nacogdoches County.

The deadly accident occurred around 10:20 p.m., August 28, on State Highway 7, just west of FM 2782.  

DPS said James Davis, 22, of Diboll, walked from the center of the roadway and into the westbound lane where he was struck by a pickup truck driven by Salvador Aguinaga, 33, of Pollok.

Davis was taken to Nacogdoches hospital, where he later died.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
