One Killed in Longview Pedestrian Accident on Cotton Street

Longview, Texas (October 5, 2022) – A person in a wheelchair was fatally hit by a car early Tuesday morning in Longview, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:45 a.m., October 4, in the 2400 block of E. Cotton Street.

Police said the person was in a motorized wheelchair when they were struck by a passenger car.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately available.

The police are investigating the crash.
