Joe Gabriel Perez Killed in Bee County Pedestrian Accident on US 59

Bee County, Texas (January 14, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday night in Bee County, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 9:44 p.m., January 8, on US 59.

Authorities said an eastbound Isuzu Rodeo attempted to pass a semi-trailer in a passing zone and struck Joe Gabriel Perez, of Beeville, Texas, on the roadway.

Both drivers stopped to render aid, but Perez was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details regarding the accident were available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
