Linda Rodriquez ID’d as Victim Killed in Lubbock Crash at 73rd Street and Milwaukee Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (August 4, 2019) – Authorities have identified the person who was killed Saturday in a traffic accident at an intersection in Lubbock as Linda Rodriquez, 59.

The tragic crash happened at 73rd Street and Milwaukee Avenue Saturday, August 3.

Police said a 2007 Ford Focus was traveling southbound on Milwaukee Avenue while a 2011 Ford Mustang was heading northbound on Milwaukee Avenue.

The Ford then made a left turn to go eastbound into a private drive when the Ford Mustang hit it.

Rodriquez, who was the front passenger in the Ford Focus, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Focus was transported to UMC with major injuries. The driver of the Ford Mustang was also taken to UMC with moderate injuries.

Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
