Man Killed in 2 Pickup Crash on Interstate 10 in Houston

Man Killed in Houston Crash on Interstate 10 Freeway West at Entrance Ramp to Interstate 45 South Tuesday morning

Houston, Texas (October 11, 2022) – A man was killed in a crash involving two pickup trucks in Houston early Tuesday morning, according to Houston police.

The deadly crash occurred at around 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 Freeway West at the entrance ramp to Interstate 45 South.

Authorities said two pickup trucks collided in the lanes leading up to the entrance ramp of I-45.

After the collision, one of the truck drivers lost control and traveled across all traffic lanes before hitting trees between the actual main lanes of I-10 and the ramp.

The man in the truck that crashed into the trees was pinned inside the vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene by responding paramedics.

The man driving the other pickup and his female passenger sustained minor injuries but are expected to be OK. The driver was not impaired and remained at the scene to cooperate with the place.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
