One Killed, One Injured in McAllen Two-Vehicle Crash on Jonquil Avenue and Jackson Road

McAllen, Texas (March 26, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in McAllen, according to police.

The fatal crash happened in the area of Jonquil Avenue and Jackson Road.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

A passenger in the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
