Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on I-35 in San Antonio

Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (April 29, 2023) – A man was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 1:30 a.m., April 28, on the lower level of the I-35 North, near downtown.

Police said the man was trying to cross the highway from the northbound to the southbound side when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

When found, the driver of the vehicle will be charged with failure to stop and render aid.

The crash closed the highway for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
