27-Year-Old Man Killed in Groves Motorcycle Crash at 39th Street and Pure Atlantic Road

Groves, Texas (November 21, 2022) – A 27-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Groves, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 2:00 p.m., November 20, at the intersection of 39th Street and Pure Atlantic Road (Highway 366).

Police said an 18-wheeler was traveling northbound on Pure Atlantic Road when it turned right onto 39th Street.

The 27-year-old man was riding his motorcycle behind the 18-wheeler when he hit the trailer.

The man was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, where he was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
