Man Killed in New Braunfels Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35
New Braunfels, Texas (March 20, 2019) – A man was fatally hit by a car early Wednesday morning on a New Braunfels freeway, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident took place at about 1:15 a.m. in the 2100 block of Interstate 35 southbound frontage road.
New Braunfels police said the man was pushing a shopping cart along the roadway when an SUV hit him. He was wearing dark-colored clothing and the driver didn’t see him.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, a 19-year-old New Braunfels man, was uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
