Mother, 2 Children Injured in DUI Crash on Roosevelt Avenue in San Antonio

Mother and Two Children Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Roosevelt Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (July 8, 2019) – A mother and two children were injured in DUI crash Sunday evening in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The accident took place around 8:00 p.m. July 7, in the 2700 block of Roosevelt Avenue at E. Southcross Boulevard.

Authorities said the crash involved a green Ford Explorer and silver Nissan.

The driver of the silver Nissan, a Hispanic female in her 20s, and two children, a boy and a girl, were injured in the crash. The victims were taken S to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries while the girl had life-threatening injuries.

The Ford driver, Carlos Perez, was charged with Intoxication, Assault and Retaliation.

The police are investigating the crash.
