Oslyn Fuentes Killed, Logan Jordan Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Business 20 and Braniff in Midland County

Midland County, Texas – One person was killed Thursday evening in a motorcycle accident in Midland County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:20 p.m., April 4, at the intersection of Business 20 and Braniff.

DPS said a 2022 BMW motorcycle and a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle were traveling westbound on Business 20 at a high rate of speed approaching the intersection when they collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse that had completed a turn.

The driver of the 2022 BMW motorcycle, 34-year-old Oslyn Francisco Fuentes, of Elkhart, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle, 24-year-old Logan Jordan, of Odessa, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. 

A 67-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver was uninjured in the crash.

Fuentes was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
