Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Amarillo Crash on Interstate 40 near Washington Street

Amarillo, Texas (September 27, 2023) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle on Monday morning in Amarillo, according to a local news source.

The wreck occurred just before 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25, on Interstate 40 near Washington Street.

As per the local news source, a motorcycle and a car collided on the westbound side of the interstate.

The motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

No further details were immediately available.

DPS is investigating the crash.
