Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Hwy 31 in Tyler

Man Killed in Tyler Motorcycle Crash on Highway 31 at Patton Lane

Tyler, Texas (May 24, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in Tyler, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:45 p.m., May 23, on Highway 31 W and Patton Lane.

Police said a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.

The pickup truck fled the scene after the crash.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the pickup truck was later located and interviewed by investigators.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
