Truck Driver Injured in Liberty County Train Crash near FM 1960 and County Road 621

Liberty County, Texas (December 17, 2019) – One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in an Amtrak train crash in Liberty County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened near FM 1960 and County Road 621 just west of Dayton.

Authorities said a concrete truck crashed into an Amtrak train with 90 people on board.

The truck driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
