1 Killed in San Marcos Plane Crash near Maxwell

San Marcos, Texas (November 20, 2019) – One person was killed in a plane crash early Wednesday morning in San Marcos, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 5:54 a.m. near Maxwell.

Officials said the plane took off from the San Marcos Regional Airport and it lost contact with air traffic control a minute later.

The aircraft was found around 8:03 a.m. on the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Center property near Maxwell.

One person was confirmed dead.
